How to calculate percentage of CBD in a bottle.
The popular method is to use the example of a 10ml bottle containing 1,000mg CBD.
- The formula is mg/(1,000 x ml) = CBD %
- i.e. 10ml of 1,000mg CBD = 10% CBD
Our bottles are 30ml so we simply divide the outcome by three.
- To get the percentage of CBD in a 30ml bottle we divide the 10ml result by 3
- Therefore 30ml of 1,000mg CBD = 3.3% CBD
- Using the above method we can calculate the following for our products:
- 30ml 250mg (pets) = 0.83% CBD
- 30ml 1,000mg = 3.3% CBD
- 30ml 2,000mg = 6.6% CBD
- 30ml 5,000mg = 16.5%CBD
- 30ml 10,000mg = 33% CBD
- 30ml 15,000mg = 49.5 % CBD
How to calculate CBD product strength in mg
MG PER ML - (mg CBD) ÷ (ml container volume) >> e.g 5,000mg ÷ 30ml = 166.6mg per ml (20 drops)
How to calculate CBD cost/price per ml
PRICE PER ML = (mg CBD) ÷ (unit price) = $ per mg
e.g. 30ml 5,000mg ÷ $125 = $40 per mg
As a guide for dosage: 1 drop = .05ml / 20 drops = 1ml
